De Aar Solar Power Supports Local Enterprise Development

De Aar Solar Power has funded a vehicle for a local 100% black-owned business as part of our supplier development programme. “We have handed over a transportation vehicle to New Tech, a local service provider, to help boost and grow their business, as part of our Enterprise Development programme,” said Marion Green-Thompson, Economic Development Manager for De Aar Solar Power.

De Aar Solar Power has funded a vehicle for a local 100% black-owned business as part of our supplier development programme. “We have handed over a transportation vehicle to New Tech, a local service provider, to help boost and grow their business, as part of our Enterprise Development programme,” said Marion Green-Thompson, Economic Development Manager for De Aar Solar Power.

This local enterprise provides a service to De Aar Solar Power in the form of basic maintenance activities as well as solar panel cleaning.

De Aar Solar Power’s Enterprise Development includes initiatives to assist and accelerate the sustainability of local enterprises by ploughing financial resources into the local area as well as the establishment of a local community trust. These programmes will continue for the 20 year life of the project and will focus on local communities in the De Aar, Britstown and Hanover areas.
